Remove your false eyelashes and nail polish at home in advance, and do not wear makeup.

On the day of operation, you should fill in a complete operation related consent form, health insurance IC card, and other relevant documents such as disability manual, major injury card, etc. Also, hand them to the operating room nursing station for registration. The nursing station checks and prepares the pre-operation data for you according to the operation method of you. Besides, they give your identification band, measure your temperature, and teach you to change the surgical gown.

Please remove all accessories, including contact lenses, dentures, hairpins, watches, necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, hearing aids, and every metal item. As metal accessories are easy to conduct electricity or scratch patients and use an electric knife to stop bleeding during the operation, all accessories that may carry out electricity should remove before the surgery. Please take movable dentures away because they may block the respiratory tract due to falling off. Please leave your valuables and money to your family members.

When changing your surgical clothing, replace all your clothing, including underwear and pants. If a female patient happens to have a menstrual cycle, she can wear paper pants at home in advance. Please dress surgical gowns backward from front to back.

Please empty your bladder before the operation. If necessary, the nursing staff will assist you with an enema.

When you enter the operating room, the nursing staff will check your identity, surgical site, and surgical method again. Please wear a surgical cap, change your operating room slippers, and they will give you a blanket to keep you warm.

After entering the operating room, the nursing staff will provide professional services and care, so your family members have a rest in the waiting area outside the operating room. They can also learn about the operation through the TV screen provided in front of the family's waiting area. During your surgery, please keeps at least one family member waiting outside the operating room. If the family member needs to leave temporarily, please inform the nursing staff in the operating room and leave a contact number.
